WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SAY YES?

Sometimes that’s the very question that keeps us from taking the next step.

We want God to show us how it will work out. We want to know what will happen, who will help us, how long it will take, and what the outcome will be before we say YES.

But Ruth teaches us that mature faith often means saying YES before every detail is comfortable or clear.

In Ruth 3:5, she simply declares: “All that thou sayest unto me I will do.”

Ruth couldn't see what was coming next. She couldn't see how the night would unfold. She couldn't see Boaz becoming her husband, Obed being born, David coming through her family line, or ultimately her place in the genealogy leading to Jesus Christ.

She couldn't see the whole story.

She could only see the NEXT FAITHFUL STEP.

Sometimes God isn't asking you to understand the whole plan. He is simply asking:

“Will you trust Me enough to take the next faithful step?”
